foundational steps to approach our fears, starting with creating
proximity without pressure. Using the example of a fear of flying, I

driving to the airport or sitting in the parking lot observing planes.
This method emphasizes building a safe relationship with our fears,
recognizing them without judgment, and allowing ourselves the freedom to
retreat if needed. The next step involves gradually increasing our
exposure by taking more active roles in confronting our fears, ensuring
we're in a space where we can feel comfortable and safe while doing so.
