Full Catastrophe Living by Jon Kabat Zinn
Jon Kabat Zinn wrote the book on stress and how it can interrupt our life. But he also gave the way to deal with this stress through mindfulness, meditation, and igniting our own healing. This classic, now revised and updated after twenty-five years is a must read in my opinion :)
Take the time to not only read this gem but to immerse yourself in the exercises and practices that Jon so brilliantly outlines for you. By adopting these mindfulness practices and integrating them into your life from moment to moment and from day to day, you can learn to manage chronic pain, promote optimal healing, reduce anxiety and feelings of panic, and improve the overall quality of your life!
This book's first edition had a huge impact on my own healing and clearing of anxiety-panic and I know this second updated edition will be a treasure in your life too!

Self-Compassion is an invitation to kindness, mindfulness and common humanity all of which keeps us far from triggering danger reactions and anxiety! Another Gem :)
This one is a MUST read for women from peri-menopause on up! The way to go through this transition with or without anxiety is to embrace the intuition and power this time of life offers, if we will just listen. Dr.Northrup has made this an exciting read and guides us through all the potential we have in this trimester of wisdom. You will thank me for suggesting this one for sure!
If you are on medications or thinking of starting them you will be wise to read psychiatrist Kelly Brogans book. This can help you make your mind up about what to do next. How to look at tapering off medications and what to do so you will not need to take the medication path as your first option.
