SAFE System for social anxiety freedom and ease cover.png

Join me, Paul and other experts as we take you on your path to social anxiety freedom and ease!

Remember anxiety -social or otherwise…
You don’t have to live with it.

You don’t have to continue feeling insecure or awkward.

You don’t have to accept it and let it be a part of your daily life.

In fact, most anxiety is highly treatable. Yet, less than 40% of the people that have it get treatment. Many more try books, videos, and other anti-anxiety material, and still cannot get into a more relaxed and comfortable space inside themselves.

Then there are those that have sought professional help through therapy and still can’t find the peace they are looking for.

The rest just give up because nothing seems to work.

That’s why this program exists. There is a path to freedom and ease with anxiety and it starts here.

Combining compelling stories from the author′s twenty-five-year practice, examples from his own struggles with addiction and depression, and practical exercises and tools, Embracing Fear does not pretend to teach the impossible and eliminate fear, but rather shows us that once we understand it we can live beyond its tyrannical control. Instead of repressing or ignoring the voices of panic and dread, we learn that it is only through facing, exploring, accepting, and responding to fear that we free ourselves from its paralyzing grip. “ -Amazon

Radical Acceptance by Tara Brach

"For many of us, feelings of deficiency are right around the corner. It doesn’t take much--just hearing of someone else’s accomplishments, being criticized, getting into an argument, making a mistake at work--to make us feel that we are not okay. Beginning to understand how our lives have become ensnared in this trance of unworthiness is our first step toward reconnecting with who we really are and what it means to live fully." -Amazon

A Mind Of Your Own

If you are on medications or thinking of starting them you will be wise to read psychiatrist Kelly Brogans book. This can help you make your mind up about what to do next. How to look at tapering off medications and what to do so you will not need to take the medication path as your first option.
"According to Dr. Kelly Brogan, antidepressants not only overpromise and underdeliver, but their use may permanently disable the body’s self-healing potential. We need a new paradigm: The best way to heal the mind is to heal the whole body.

In this groundbreaking, science-based and holistic approach, Dr. Brogan shatters the mythology conventional medicine has built around the causes and treatment of depression. Based on her expert interpretation of published medical findings, combined with years of experience from her clinical practice, Dr. Brogan illuminates the true cause of depression: it is not simply a chemical imbalance, but a lifestyle crisis that demands a reset." Amazon
Dr Brogan was on episode 258 so listen in and then read the book!

"The Divided Mind by John E. Sarno M.D.

is the crowning achievement of Dr. John E. Sarno's distinguished career as a groundbreaking medical pioneer, going beyond pain to address the entire spectrum of psychosomatic (mindbody) disorders. The interaction between the generally reasonable, rational, ethical, moral conscious mind and the repressed feelings of emotional pain, hurt, sadness, and anger characteristic of the unconscious mind appears to be the basis for mindbody disorders." -Amazon

But when her own health started to suffer, and she turned to Western medical treatments, she found that they not only failed to help; they made her worse. So she decided to take matters into her own hands." -Amazon

Going to Pieces Without Falling Apart  by Mark Epstein, MD

"shows us that happiness doesn't come from any kind of acquisitiveness, be it material or psychological. Happiness comes from letting go. Weaving together the accumulated wisdom of his two worlds--Buddhism and Western psychotherapy--Epstein shows how "the happiness that we seek depends on our ability to balance the ego's need to do with our inherent capacity to be." He encourages us to relax the ever-vigilant mind in order to experience the freedom that comes only from relinquishing control." -Amazon
